Malden Police are seeking to identify a man who robbed the Citizens Bank on Lebanon Street Thursday afternoon.

About 1:20 p.m., a man with facial hair wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, baseball cap, and fingerless gloves handed a teller a note demanding cash and fled with an undetermined amount of money, Malden police Lieutenant Marc Gatcomb said in an e-mail. No weapon was shown. Police recovered items of clothing near the scene they believe belonged to the victim.

The suspect is described at about 30 to 49 years old with a thin build, Gatcomb said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Malden police at 397-7178.
