The Malden Little League's Athletics completed their historic season Wednesday winning the Malden Major League City Championship.  This marked the first time in the history of Malden Little League that any team has won 3 Straight City Championships.

The A's won the regular season title with a 15-5 record, and went 4-1 in the City Series Playoffs.  After losing the second game of the playoffs and being on the brink of elimination the A's dramatically won three straight games to capture the Championship.

Throughout the year the Athletics played solid team defense with a consistent offensive attack.  They lead the league once again with the fewest runs allowed (76), and runs scored (179) in 25 games.

Teamwork was the name of the game and it took all 12 players, 1 manager, and 3 coaches to make history.  Returning players, Devin Ciampi, Jay KC, Devin Killoren, Steven MacDonald, Justin Mini, Nick Sargent, and Kenny Williams.  New additions Isaiah Abad, Liam Jordan, Tyrone Lane, Marc Martignetti, and Michael Thompson.  Coaching staff Manager Larry Chabre, Coaches Matt Chabre, Ryan Jordan, and Brian Rosenthal.

And let it be known that Devin Ciampi, Steven MacDonald, and Justin Mini are the only three players to be a part of ALL 3 Championship Teams.  CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE ATHLETICS PLAYERS, AND COACHES FROM 2011, 2012, & 2013 FOR BEING A PART OF MAKING HISTORY IN MALDEN....
