Mystic Valley girls beat Northeast

The following was submitted by the Mystic Valley Regional Charter School:

The Mystic Valley girls’ soccer team played Northeast at home on Tuesday and beat them 8-0.  “We are continuing to improve as a team, but still have a lot of work to do to get we're we want to be’ said coach Michael White after the game. 

Katarina DiPlacido led the way on offense with 3 goals and 1 assist for four points.  Megan Foley also chipped in with 2 goals and an assist.  The other goals were scored by Vanessa Kreis, Meredith Lane and Freshman Teya Nigro who scored her first varsity goal.  Both Sam Rizzo and Caroline Williams picked up a pair of assists.  

Bryanna Cimetti recorded her second shutout of the season in the net. With the win the girls record now stands at 2-2.
