Rabbi Bob Alper bringing laughs to Marblehead

Marblehead’s Temple Emanu-El will be featuring Rabbi Bob Alper, a comedian focused on the benefits of laughter, on Nov. 5 and 6.

rabbi1.gifAlper has been a frequent guest on Sirius/XM Radio, ABC, CNN, BBC, the Today Show, Good Morning America, and Comedy Central. Alper’s program called “The Spirituality of Laughter,” which takes aspects from his book “Life Doesn't Get Any Better Than This: The Holiness of Little Daily Dramas,” will delve into the many benefits of laughter in aspects of everyday life.

Alper’s shows are free and open to the public. Alper will be onstage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6.

Guests may also partake in an optional dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday. The dinner is $12 per person and diners are required to register in advance by calling 781-631-9300 by Oct. 30.
