On Saturday, Dec. 11 from 3 to 5 p.m. a holiday sing-along concert for the whole family, featuring 12 musicians singing both original and traditional holiday songs, will be held at the Marblehead Arts Association, 8 Hooper St.

A portion of the proceeds benefit SmallCanBeBig, a charity that harnesses the power of small, direct donations to assist families on the brink of homelessness.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children.

A holiday party with an opening reception on Sunday, Dec. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. will feature musical entertainment from Cindy McIntire and Dick Luecke of O’Carolan Etcetera. The party will kick off the opening of MAA’s December member exhibit.

The exhibit will showcase original, unframed mini-works created by MAA artist members. The paintings, prints, and photographs are perfect for holiday giving and the proceeds benefit programs at the MAA.

The party entertainment by Luecke and McIntire offers an eclectic mix of flute-guitar duets, Renaissance music, early English dance tunes, the timeless melodies of O’Carolan, and jazz. Both events are free and open to the public.
