Ballet showcase Sunday in Marblehead

The following was submitted by the Marblehead School of Ballet:

The Marblehead School of Ballet invites dance enthusiasts throughout the region to enjoy an informal presentation of works performed by participants in the school’s 2011 Summer Intensive Dance Programs.
 
On Saturday, August 13, at 1:30 pm, dancers who participated in the program, along with members of the North Shore Civic Ballet and MSB’s Variation Class, will perform works choreographed by Marius Petipa; Jules Perrot; MSB faculty members Mary Lee Karlins and Ivan Korn; and MSB Director Paula K. Shiff.

Admission is free to the general public, and dance lovers of all ages are welcome.
 
The Marblehead School of Ballet (www.havetodance.com/marblehead) is located at 115 Pleasant Street in Marblehead, MA, just steps from Five Corners and accessible via #441, #442, #448 and #449 bus lines. Ample free street parking is available.
