Art Throb and Salem Theatre Company to host benefit

Art*Throb and Salem Theatre Company are joining forces for a night of music, art, food and drink to celebrate local literary, performing and visual arts. The setting is the garden and galleries of the Marblehead Arts Association on Wednesday, August 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Marblehead Arts Association is located in the King Hooper Mansion, 8 Hooper Street in Marblehead. Tickets for the benefit are $25.

"In its tenth year, the Salem Theatre Company has been a major player in Salem's growing arts scene," said Art*Throb founding editor Dinah Cardin. "We are thrilled to be partnering with them on this event, helping them raise some money to keep doing what they do while launching a great issue of the magazine at the same time. The theme of the August issue is By Design and we have intentionally designed a really cool event. We love furthering these terrific partnerships!"

One lucky attendee will win two Salem Theatre Company Season Ten Passes.

Attendees will also get a first glimpse of the new exhibit at MAA in conjunction with the Marblehead Maritime Festival Aug. 3-12.
