Another top honor for the JCC of the North Shore, celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The J has been named Best Business in 2012 by the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce.

The JCC offers programs for everyone in the community, from infants to seniors. “Whether it's our renowned Early Childhood program, enriching after-school classes, state-of-the-art fitness and sports programs or our popular author series, our goal is to support everyone with health, wellness, cultural and family offerings,” said JCC President John Smidt.

The J is more active in the community than ever before, participating in events like the Fall Festival, Wellness Expo and Maritime Week. The Center connects with families at farmers markets and hosts Story & Craft Hours at local libraries and bookstores. The JCC has many community partners, including the Festival of Arts, Symphony by the Sea, Spaulding Rehab and Marblehead & Swampscott Patch. Its popular Preferred Vendor Program offers members discounts at dozens of local businesses.

The JCC has also been voted the region's #1 Health Club and Silver Medal Winner for Summer Camp by the Readers’ Choice Awards! The cast and crew of Grown Ups 2 chose the JCC for workouts, pick-up basketball games, auditions and more. The J’s membership is thriving (up nearly 40% since last summer), as it welcomes more and more families to the Hill.

For more information on the JCC, go to JCCNS.ORG or check out its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/jccns. You can also call 781-631-8330. Join the J in September for $0 registration fee and receive a FREE tennis consultation or fitness tune-up with a personal trainer!
