Think you've got the vocal chops to win it all at the "North Pole Idol" competition in Marblehead?

The Marblehead and Salem schools of music are looking for singers to participate in the "North Pole Idol" competition, a vocal competition with a $500 cash prize being held during the annual Marblehead Christmas Walk.

The second and final live audition for entry is being held on Friday, November 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Salem School of Music (3 Pleasant Street, Salem). Potential contestants can also audition online by submitting a video performance of "Jingle Bells" and another song of their choice.

Chosen contestants for the final competition, which will be held on December 1, will be announced on the Facebook page of A Dancer's Dream, one of the contest sponsors.

The winner's prize package also includes a professional recording session and private music lessons.
