Preschoolers from Marblehead's Jewish Community Center of the North Shore celebrated Mother's Day this morning with a festive tea party that included singing, muffins, and tea, of course.

The children enjoyed the treats with their moms from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. and presented hand-painted tea cup platters filled with spring flowers as gifts for the occasion.

In addition, the preschoolers presented decorated "My Mom is Special" books spotlighting all the reasons why they love their moms.

As the tea party wrapped up, the children sang songs like "M-O-M-M-Y" to the tune of "Bingo," and recited the poem "Mom Always Knows."
