In preparation for the upcoming summer weather, Marblehead residents will gather for the One Healthy Ocean Family beach cleanup.

The event is hosted by National Grand Bank and Carol Kent Yacht Club Charters and will be held on Saturday May 25 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Volunteers will cleanup local beaches, including Devereux, Grace Oliver's, Preston, Gas House, Little Harbor and Fort Beach.

Designated cleanup captains will be located at Devereux Beach or Gas House Beach to hand out trash bags, give safety briefings and participation gifts from local businesses.

One Healthy Ocean is asking participants to bring their own water, snacks and gloves and make sure that all children are accompanied by an adult.
