"One of the hard-to-believe real life events in a skit from 'Ma, Only You!' ends with Miriam Eyges arms akimbo in a laundry basket!"

"MA, ONLY YOU!", a one-woman comedy show performed by Marblehead professional actress, Miriam Eyges, will be presented on Sunday, July 28th at 7:00 pm at the Old North Church, 35 Washington Street in Marblehead. The proceeds for this fundraising event will be donated to the Theatre of Light?s summer children?s theatre program. The suggested ticket donation is $10. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited. For more information or to make reservations, call 978-210-9818 or email theatreoflight@comcast.net .

This comedy show is based on unusual and unique comical events that have taken place during Eyges' life. The title of the show, "Ma, Only You", are the exact words that Miriam?s son always says to her as he rolls his eyes and shakes his head in disbelief at the antics that she has experienced.

This updated version of "Ma, Only You", includes new vignettes including Miriam's award-winning ?Mikve Monologue? that she recently performed at the English-Speaking Theatre Arts Festival in Jerusalem, Israel. Eyges was one of ten monologue writers who were selected to perform at this festival in the monologue performance competition.

Also performing in this fundraising event are several Theatre of Light actors who will entertain the audience with a variety show consisting of Broadway songs and skits prior to the ?Ma, Only You!? performance. The young actors, ages 8 to 18, are Lauren Bull, Olivia Folly, Molly Greville, Paige Nally, and Elizabeth Tauro from Marblehead with Alex Diefenbach, Katie Moloney, Carissa Myer of Salem, Mariella Robinson from Beverly, and Caroline Devereaux of Nahant. The Musical Director is Debra Basille of Marblehead.
