The following was submitted by the JCC of the North Shore:

More than 100 people laced up to shoot hoops at the JCC’s popular 3on3 Jimmy Myers Basketball Tournament. The tourney ran all day, with different age groups ranging from grade 3 to adults.  The event honors the memory of Jimmy Myers, who lived in Swampscott and was the JCC gym director for more than 30 years.

The winners include:

Elementary school champions: Aiden Callahan of Rowley, Andrew Samperi of Beverly and Cole Keough of Swampscott

Middle school champions: Eli Cohen, Derek Marino and Max Freedman, all of Marblehead

Adult champions:  Mark Petrides of Amherst, Ben Petrides of Salem and Zach Markowitz of Salem
