The city's ParkARTS program will be returning to Mattapan and Dorchester through July and August.

The free program, held at the Almont park in Mattapan and the Martin Tot Lot in Dorchester, will be hosted by local artists who will lead area children through arts and crafts workshops.

Each event, for children ages three to 10, includes water coloring, mask and jewelry making, and treasure bottle creations.

The events will run from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Jul. 24, Aug. 7, and Aug. 14.
