As community members and the city begin to buckle down and create a vision for the Fairmount Corridor, the Boston Redevelopment Authority has developed a website for information about the project and how to get involved.

The new website located at www.fairmountindigoplanning.org, will help guide residents through the multi-year Fairmount Indigo Planning Initiative, which aims to create a community-led vision for the 9.2-mile corridor that runs from South Station to Hyde Park.

Residents, the BRA, various city departments and a consultant team will be working together in the coming years to a create a development and economic plan for a corridor that serves nearly 120,000 residents and a number of businesses in Newmarket, Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan and Hyde Park.

The Citizen Advisory Group for the project recently met at the Kroc Center in Uphams Corner to lay out the demographics of the corridor. To read more click here.
