High school juniors and seniors will have a chance later this month to learn more about post-graduation careers and colleges.
A college and career fair, sponsored by the Mattahunt Wheelock Community Center Partnership, has been set for Apr. 18 at the Mildred Avenue Community Center.
Representatives from area colleges, including Wheelock College and Simmons College, will be on hand to talk with students about applications, financial aid, and the benefits of a degree.
Various companies and trade organizations will also have representatives on hand for those looking for work and a career after high school.
The free, all-day event, includes a number of workshops and discussion panels, but participants must register.
The E.M.E.R.G.E College and Career Day will run from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the community center located at 5 Mildred Ave.
