Residents of Victory Programs’ ReVision Family Home in Dorchester got a little extra help Friday sprucing up the shelter.

Close to 90 employees of Sun Life Financial were joined by basketball Hall of Famer Robert Parish, Celtics’ forward Jared Sullinger, and former fan favorite Walter McCarty as they painted walls, cleaned up landscaping, and built new furniture for the residents.

The shelter, which also boasts a one-acre onsite farm, provides stable housing for up to 22 women and their children.
