Medford Colts Pop Warner cheerleaders win national title

Medford has a national champion.

The Medford Colts' Pop Warner cheerleaders won the Junior Midget Small Intermediate Division title at the 2009 National Cheer & Dance Championship Dec. 9 at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.

The Medford girls, who topped 13 other squads to claim the crown, won the Greater Boston League and Eastern Mass. titles and placed second in the New England Regional.
