Police arrest two teens on assault charges

Medford Police arrested three teenagers, two for alleged violent offenses, according to police records of recent incidents. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Suspects' identities are released as a matter of public record.

Kristen L. Hall, 25, of 6 Newton St. in Winchester, was arrested Oct. 18 at 3850 Mystic Valley Parkway on one charge of shoplifting by asportation of items valued at more than $100.

Police arrested Andrew L. Schiavo, 18, of 303 Spring St. in Medford, Oct. 18 on charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle, use of a motor vehicle without authority, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Joseph M. Russo, 37, of 132 Grant Ave. in Medford, was arrested Oct. 19 on charges of possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class D substance, and possession of a class B substance.

Officers arrested Brian J. Valente, 32, of 104 Fellsway West in Medford, Oct. 27 at 257 Spring St. for alleged armed robbery.

Patrick J. Lund, 24, of 46 Richards Road in Reading, was arrested Oct. 22 for a first offense of alleged operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Brian C. Marks, 42, of 21 Puritan Road in Somerville was arrested Oct. 23, for a first offense of alleged operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

Police arrested James Papaluca, 18, of 344 Riverside Ave. in Medford, Oct. 23 for alleged assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Joseph Estrella, 18, of 133 Rock Glen Road in Medford, was arrested Oct. 23 for alleged assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Officers arrested Aime Prudhomme, 72, of 22 Fairmount St. in Medford, Oct. 24 for alleged assault and battery. Prodhomme required medical treatment and was transported to the emergency room at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and was kept for treatment in prisoner watch.

John J. DeAngelo, 47, of 44 Dunbar Ave. in Medford, was arrested Oct. 25 for alleged violation of an abuse prevention order.

Police arrested James A. Huguley, 46, a homeless man, Oct. 28 at 106 Exchange Ave. on charges of alleged trespassing, breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony, and larceny of property valued at more than $250.
