The Board of Appeals on Tuesday will continue a public hearing on the application of Sonic, a car-hop restaurant, to locate at the former KISS 108 radio station building on Route 16.

A variance is required because the area is zoned for industry.

Concern about the impact of traffic generated from the restaurant was raised during the first session of the hearing last month.

New public hearings include a request for a finding from the board that a three-story deck on a home at 90 Warren St. is not significantly more detrimental to the neighborhood than the previous deck. A hearing also will be held on a request for zoning relief to allow a two-story home at 16 Washington St.,  an area zoned for single-family homes.

The board will meet at 7 p.m. in Room 201  at City Hall.
