Medford Fire Department promotes three firefighters

The Fire Department has some new brass.

Mayor Michael J. McGlynn last week announced the promotions of three firefighters to new positions. Firefighter Todd Evans was promoted to the rank of lieutenant.

Lieutenant Frank A. Gilberti III  was promoted to captain. He's the son of Fire Chief Frank A. Gilberti.

Captain Francis Fusco was promoted to deputy chief.

City Clerk Ed Finn administered the oath to each during a special ceremony, with McGlynn and Chief Gilberti looking on.
