Celebration of African songs, stories coming to Medford Public Library

Eshu Bumpus will perform Feb. 22 at the Medford Public Library to celebrate Black History Month.

Medford will celebrate Black History Month with a performance of African music, stories, and African-American folktales.The performance, by Eshu Bumpus, a storyteller and jazz vocalist, is scheduled for Feb. 22 at 10 a.m.

Expect music, humor, and mystery, according to planners. The event is free, and is sponsored by the Medford Cultural Council.
