The following was submitted by Tufts University: 

The Tufts University Department of Music presents "My Business is to Sing" in the Distler Performance Hall at the Perry and Marty Granoff Music Center on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 8 p.m. as part of the Tufts Composers Series. The concert will feature settings of poetry by Emily Dickinson by guest composer Eric Sawyer of Amherst College, and guest artists Sarah Pelletier, soprano, and Lois Shapiro, piano. The concert will also include solo piano music by Tufts Professor Emeritus Mark DeVoto, accompanied by John McDonald on piano, as well as works by Tufts composers Alex Barstow, Nathan Caldwell, McDonald, and Kevin Warren.
