After a $100,000 project to replace the Grace Episcopal Church's failing boiler system, an Episcopal Bishop on Sunday blessed the newly installed heating system.

"Almighty God, your Holy Spirit equips the church with a rich variety of gifts to accomplish your will and mission in the world," said Bishop Gayle Elizabeth Harris, surrounded by congregants in the church's basement. "Today we celebrate the most practical of gifts, the gift of boilers to warm our church, that it may serve as the gathering and meeting place for our congregation and the community."

The boiler project will save the church money on heating and energy costs, and will also lower the facility's overall carbon footprint, said Father Noah Evans in a statement.
