Sloane family supports Franciscan Hospital for Children

The Sloane family of Medford-based Century Bank attended Franciscan Hospital for Children’s annual Community Leadership Award Dinner on Wednesday, November 7th at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. Over 500 supporters attended the event, helping to raise more than $450,000 to benefit the kids at Franciscan Hospital for Children.
This year, Franciscan Hospital for Children presented Robert K. Sheridan, recently retired President and CEO of The Savings Bank Life Insurance Company, with the Community Leadership Award for his continued dedication and generous support. Sheridan is a tireless worker on behalf of many of Boston’s non-profit organizations including the University of Massachusetts Building Authority, New England Center for Children and the New England Council.
Former patient and current Kennedy Day School Student, Korey T. Foley, was also honored with the Profile in Children’s Courage Award at the dinner. NECN’s Jim Braude MC'd the event and more than 500 people attended.
