Home sales in Medford continued to rise in November, slightly outpacing state trends, according to recently released real estate data.

A total of 299 single-family homes sold in Medford through November, up 28 percent from 234 in the same span last year, according to data from The Warren Group, which tracks real estate data statewide. Condo sales are also up 28 percent in the city, from 136 through November 2011 to 175 through November this year, according to the data.

The median sale price for a single-family home in Medford is up 3 percent from last year, from $340,000 to $350,000; the median condo sale price also rose slightly, to $282,000 compared to $280,000 last year.

Statewide, single-family home sales are up 22 percent, from 35,718 through November 2011 to 43,652 this year, according to the data. Massachusetts condo sales are up 27 percent, from 13,971 to 17,765.

This year is on pace to be the busiest for home sales since 2006, according to Warren Group CEO Timothy Warren.

"We're winding down a pretty strong year of real estate in Massachusetts. It looks like sales will be the highest since 2006," he said in a statement. "We're also seeing median prices start to creep up, another positive sign of a healthy market recovery."
