Medford goes back to school Wednesday
Asking parents and drivers to be extra cautious, Superintendent Roy Belson announced Medford Public Schools will be open Wednesday.
"We want to go the extra mile and take every precaution to ensure the safety of our children," Belson said in a statement. "We ask that all motorists drive slower than usual and keep extra alert for pedestrians of all ages."
School buses will be operating slower tomorrow and parents should expect delays both in pickups and drop-offs, Belson said. He also asked parents of younger children to coordinate with each other to ensure all students are supervised in walks to school or the bus stop Wednesday morning.
