Tuft University Department of Music presents Sunday at Tufts - community concert series with Katherin Chi

The Tufts University Department of Music presents a performance by Katherine Chi, in the Distler Performance Hall at the Perry and Marty Granoff Music Center on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 3 p.m. as part of the Sunday at Tufts – Community Concert Series.
Performance faculty pianist Katherine Chi will perform a concert of music spanning the ages. Chi will perform pieces by Bach, Beethoven, and Ravel that were composed three centuries apart in 1714, 1814, and 1914-1917. The performance will also include Sigismond Thalberg’s Grande Fantasia su La Traviata di Verdi, Op. 78, which celebrates Verdi, who was born two centuries ago in 1813.
