The following was submitted by Mystic Valley Regional Charter School

Congtin Nguyen, a junior at Mystic Valley and Medford resident, was honored at Regis College by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese because he received the highest score in the state of Massachusetts on the National Spanish Exam. This is the second year in a row that he earned the top prize!

He took the Level 4 exam - an exam level typically given to seniors. The other award winners and Congtin represented the top 0.3% of all the Massachusetts students who took the National Spanish Exam earlier this year.
