The Medford Senior Center will extend its hours to 8 p.m., if the city receives a request before 3 p.m. any day during the heat wave, according to city health director Karen Rose.

The senior center, located at 101 Riverside Ave., is typically open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Temperatures in Medford are expected to climb into the 90s Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and perhaps Saturday.
