Mystic Valley’s lower school Drama Club performed Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella this past weekend before packed house of family and friends. The magical tale of a diamond-in – the rough princess to be and her prince overcoming issues with their families to find each other one “Lovely Night” was thoroughly enjoyed by those in attendance.

Emma McGlynn played the role of Cinderella. She was joined on stage by Audrey Borenstein (Fairy Godmother), Mary Callanan (Stepmother) Sofia DeSimone and Abigail Bemis (stepsisters), Josh Herson (Prince), Tyler Herson (herald), Stacey Fabo (Queen) and Stephen Munafo (King) along with a host of townspeople and guests at the ball.

The play’s Director, Mystic Valley teacher, Mr. Nick Quinn was quite pleased with the students’ performance saying after the show “I am very proud of the production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. The actors from the 4-6 grades worked tirelessly to put together a production that they should be pleased with! Both cast and crew worked hard to create a wonderful world that the entire family could enjoy. Thank you to both the High School crew and Lower School crew for all your extra efforts and to the parents who helped bring everything together and make the stage look clean and professional!”
