Melrose Police log: Teen arrested for alleged drug sale

Police took a report of a three-car accident at the intersection of Franklin and Howie streets last Tuesday at 4:05 p.m. There were no injuries, the log states.
Police booked a 14-year-old on an assault and battery charge last Wednesday just after 3:05 p.m.
A caller reported that "the ex" threatened him and his children last Wednesday at around 6:40 p.m., according to the log.
A caller reported a "possible recent assault" last Thursday just after 5:45 p.m.
Police booked a 14-year-old on charges of drug distribution and violating drug laws near a school last Friday just after 1 p.m.
A man reported a past breaking and entering at his residence last Friday at around 10:30 p.m.
A caller reported youths skating on thin ice at Swains Pond last Saturday just before 1:05 p.m.
Police booked John DeCola, 45, of Saugus, and Joseph Tofalo, 40, of Danvers, on assault charges last Saturday at around 4:15 p.m. after responding to reports of a fight at Pepperberry Florist on Main Street.
Two girls said that six male teens were harassing them last Saturday at around 8:15 p.m. An officer met the girls and a parent at the Common Market on East Foster Street and planned to search the area for the boys, according to the log.
A caller reported a snow plow driver having a medical problem - "possibly a seizure," the log states - last Sunday at 6:10 a.m. at Shaws on Essex Street.
A caller reported two six-wheel all terrain vehicles driving into snow banks near the intersection of Trenton and West Foster streets last Sunday at around 12:30 p.m.
