Police in Melrose issued summonses for trespassing and four incidents of past assault and battery, according to police records. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Suspects' names are released as a matter of public record.

Patricia M. Wright, 58, of 10 Norris Court, was issued a summons Oct. 25 for alleged trespassing.

Police issued summonses to four people Oct. 26 on alleged assault and battery charges. The identity of one, a 17-year-old, was withheld because of her age. The three adults summonsed were: Evana N. Johnson, 18, of 10 Island Hill Ave. in Melrose, Jeanne M. DiMuzio, 41, of 1117 Main St. in Melrose, and Laura J. Butler, 33, of 2 Hanson St. in Wakefield.

Officers responded Oct. 27 to a complaint of a Porsche with New Hampshire plates that had been parked on Oakland Street. Police checked the license plate information, which indicated that the car had been stolen. The vehicle was towed away, according to police.
