Melrose inauguration scheduled for tonight

The city tonight will hold the 2012 inaugural ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall on Main Street.

Mayor Robert J. Dolan will be sworn into office for a fifth term. Members of the Board of Aldermen and School Committee also will be administered the oath of office by City Clerk Mary-Rita O'Shea.

Dolan, first elected in 2002, will deliver his inaugural address. Board of Aldermen President John Tramontozzi and School Committee Chairwoman Kristin Thorp also are scheduled to speak.
