City Hall wants to keep the e-customer satisfied.

A new feature on City of Melrose e-mails allows recipients to comment on the service they received from city employees. At the end of every e-mail, residents can click on a button to take a satisfaction survey.

"People will be able to comment," said Mayor Robert J. Dolan. "If an employee has done particularly well, or if they’ve had a challenging interaction, we want to hear about it."

Residents may also leave comments on a new blog Dolan started last week to keep residents informed of city happenings. The address is mayordolansblog.wordpress.com.
