Melrose Hammerheads to host annual fundraising gala May 11

The Melrose Hammerheads are holding their 9th annual fundraising gala on Friday, May 11th at Memorial Hall in Melrose. The Gala is the primary fundraising event and includes dinner, dancing, a silent auction and raffles.

This year’s team includes the following players from Churchill American, National and Incarnation Little League: Jack Brennan, Cory Bright, Shane Correale, Jared Crowell, Avery Davis, Shawn Morrow, Gavin Prodgers, Joe Stanton, Jack Sullivan, Eric Taitano, Denis Taylor, Dylan Vienot, and Jack Whitley.

This year's team is looking forward to attending the tournament. Last year’s tournament was the most successful one yet for the Hammerheads. Playing some of the best U12 teams in the country, the Hammerheads earned a well-deserved bye in the first round of the playoffs. The players who represented Melrose in the tournament’s skills competitions also had strong performances and just missed the finals round.
