Flu clinic for Melrose, Wakefield, Reading set for Thursday

A clinic to administer flu shots to residents of Melrose, Wakefield, and Reading will be held at Wakefield's Town Hall Thursday, according to an announcement.

The shots will be free to residents with eligible insurance, and $10 for anyone else, the announcement said. The shots are for people 18 and older only. The clinic will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Insurance from the following providers will be accepted: Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross, Unicare Health New England, Fallon, Health New England, Neighborhood Health Plan, BMC Healthnet, MassHealth, and Medicare Part B.

Wakefield Town Hall is located at 1 Lafayette St.
