Senator Katherine Clark (D-5th Middlesex) is joined by Ann Krantz, Molly Malloy and Dawn Tringas of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America at the Greater Boston Mother’s Day Walk in honor of victims of gun violence and their families on Saturday, May 11, 2013.  Participants carried 8 paper flowers in honor of the 8 children per day who are killed by guns in the United States.  Senator Clark addressed the gathering and called for mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts and uncles to come together to “demand sensible gun laws, effective implementation of those laws, and a change in our culture around guns and violence.”  She added, “I believe that together we can find common ground and work together for reforms that stem the tide of gun violence and keep our communities more secure and all our children safer.”
