MILTON -- Authorities are seeking a search warrant for a vehicle impounded last night in Milton that could be linked to grisly discovery of an apparent murder victim in the city on Monday.

Milton Deputy Police Chief Charles Paris said his department and State Police have applied for a warrant to search the white Audi located last night on Adams Street.

Paris could not say if the vehicle had blood on it. He said it was impounded because it matched witness accounts of a vehicle seen in the area of Monday night's discovery of a mutilated body of a young man, who has not been identified.

Police have also discovered a note on the victim's person with the name Delonte Tisdale written on it.

Paris said that name has not come up in any area school systems or in the state criminal records database.

He said police have interviewed numerous witnesses but have yet to speak with a person of interest in the slaying.
