The mystery of the note
Investigators would like very much to know what the exact name is on this note. It could help identify the body.
Is this a hall pass allowing a student to go to lunch?
Investigators may have gotten a big break when they found a handwritten note on the mutilated body of man found Monday night on a quiet street in Milton. But what does the note mean and who did it belong to?
Milton police yesterday released a photograph of a note found on the victim, which appeared to show the name "Delonte Tisdale," though the letters of the first name are difficult to decipher. The note also read, A lunch, and included a scribbled signature and the date 10/19/2010. Neat folds can be seen in the paper.
Could this be a pass allowing a student to go to lunch during the "A" period?
Deputy Police Chief Charles Paris said Wednesday the name did not come up in any of the area public school databases that investigators searched. He said the name also did not appear in the state criminal records database.
David Traub, a spokesman for Norfolk District Attorney William R. Keating, said the name is a very active part of the investigation, which is being handled by Milton police and state troopers attached to Keatings office.
