What's happening in Milton this week

Here’s a quick look at events and happenings taking place in Milton this week.

Meetings: The 350th Anniversary Committee and the Board of Health will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 525 Canton Ave. The Board of Appeals will hold a hearing Wednesday at Town Hall at 7 p.m. and the Warrant Committee will meet that same night at 7:30 p.m. The Planning Board will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

Election Day: Tuesday is the town election and polls will remain open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Watch this space Tuesday evening for results.

Bingo Night: St. Agatha’s, 432 Adams St. will hold a free Bingo night Monday at 4:30 p.m.

Seniors Trivia: The Council on Aging, 10 Walnut St., will hold an educational trivia day Wednesday at 1 p.m. All Milton seniors are invited.

Memoir Workshop: The Forbes House Museum will hold a memoir writing workshop Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $140 and the class will be taught by syndicated columnist and author Suzette Standring and Curry College professor and author Allan Hunter.

Diabetes Fair: Beth Israel Deaconess-Milton will hold its third annual diabetes fair, 199 Reedsdale Rd. all day Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
