Milton High seeking volunteers, donors for 'Grad Night' party
Milton High School is looking for volunteer chaperons for its annual "All Night Graduation Party" on June 3.
The event, in its 19th year, is held at the Copeland Field House just hours after graduation and offers food, music, and activities for students as an alternative to house parties off campus.
According to a memo from Superintendent Mary Gormley, the party is a “community-supported way for all seniors to get together for one last gathering in a safe, alcohol-free, drug-free environment.”
Students will be admitted to the party at 10:30 p.m.; the doors will close at 11 p.m. and not re-open until 5 a.m. the next day.
Anyone interested in volunteering or businesses interested in donating supplies or funding should contact Paula Hailer at characters4kids@aol.com.
More information about the party, including rules and an RSVP form, is available on the Milton schools website.
