What's happening in Milton this week

Here's a quick look at events and holiday closures taking place around Milton this week.

Independence Day: Town Hall will be closed Wednesday in celebration of Independence Day. Operations will resume on Thursday at 8 a.m.

Library Closed: The Milton Public Library will also be closed Wednesday for Independence Day. It will re-open Thursday at 1 p.m.

Seniors Trivia: The Milton Council on Aging invites Milton seniors to an educational trivia event Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the center, 10 Walnut St.

Health Information: The council on aging will also hold a free “Serving Health Information Needs of Elders” event Thursday at 9 a.m.

Story Hour: The Milton Public Library will hold an open story hour event for children ages 3 to 6 years old. Children can enjoy stories, songs, activities and a craft. This is a drop-in program, and registration is not required.
