Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis said Thursday morning that the shooting on Sunday that killed three woman, including Genevieve Philip of Milton, was gang-related.

He said at least one of the women fatally shot in a car in Dorchester was “targeted.” He didn’t elaborate.
