Milton music program holding registration Sept. 6
The Milton Public Schools Applied Lesson Program will be holding registration Sept. 6 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Milton High School.
Students in at least fourth grade may take lessons on flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trumpet trombone, baritone horn, tuba, French horn, drums, guitar, violin, viola, cello, and bass, a news release said.
The 30 minute lessons are held once a week at the high school Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 9 p.m. and Fridays from 2:30 to 7 p.m. Students are taught by professional musicians.
Parents should expect to pay upon registration on Sept. 6 and can also rent an instrument from Rayburn Music Company or borrow one from the Milton music department on a first come, first serve basis.
