What's happening in Milton this week

This week the Milton Board of Selectmen will meet Thursday to discuss a town administrator search committee and Fontbonne Academy will off a free SAT prep test. Here's a look at those two events and other happenings in Milton this week. 

Meetings: The Planning Board will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Carol Blue Conference Room at Town Hall, 525 Canton Ave. The Town Government Study Committee will also meet in the Baker Conference Room at 7 p.m. The Board of Selectmen will meet at 8 p.m. in the Cronin Conference Room. Note: The time for the selectman meeting has changed from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Job Doctor: Milton resident and career coach Roni Noland will offer free career consultations Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Ave. 

Book Sale: The Milton Public Library will hold a book shop sale Tuesday starting at 10 a.m. 

SAT Practice: Fontbonne Academy, 930 Brook Rd. will offer free Kaplan SAT practice tests to anyone interested Wednesday at 5 p.m. 

Seniors Trivia: The Council on Aging will hold an "educational trivia" event Wednesday stating at 1 p.m. The Council on Aging is located at 10 Walnut St. 

Choir Concert: Parkway United Methodist Church, 158 Blue Hills Pkwy. will host the Duplan Choir in a free concert Saturday at 6 p.m. at the church.
