The Milton Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group, “TAG,” will hold a “Come in Character” party for teens and tweens Dec. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m.

According to a news release, the event is a chance for Milton students to celebrate their favorite stories and characters with a book-themed trivia game, a costume contest, and crafts. Activities will be centered on “The Hunger Games” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” among other teen favorites.

Costumes can be from books, anime publications, comics, movies, or just about anything else, Emily Calkins, young adult librarian, said in a statement.

TAG is a group of junior and high school students who meet monthly to plan events, help select materials for the library, and write on the library’s teen blog.

The event is for students in sixth through 12th grade only and will be held at the library, 476 Canton Ave. Contact Calkins at 617-698-5757 or ecalkins@ocln.org with questions or comments.
