The last film in the Milton Public Library’s “Segregated Worlds” series will be shown on Dec. 6 at 6:15 pm.

Organizers of the event have selected the film, “Liberty Heights,” and Milton Middle School teacher Jeff Stoodt will moderate a discussion and trivia quiz prior to the screening.

According to a news release, the film examines cultural changes in 1954 Baltimore through the eyes of two brothers being raised in a Jewish neighborhood. It takes place in the age of the atomic bomb, rock and roll, and the civil rights movement.

The cast includes actors Joe Mantegna, Bebe Neuwirth, and Adrien Brody. It is rated R for language and some thematic material.

The screening is free and popcorn will be served. For more information contact Jean Hlady, adult services librarian at 617-698-5757.
