What's happening in Milton this week

Here’s a quick look at events and happenings taking place in Milton this week.

Meetings: On Tuesday, the Personnel Board will meet in the Cronin Conference Room at Town Hall, 525 Canton Ave. Then at 7:30 that night, the Conservation Commission will meet in the Blute Conference Room at Town Hall. The Board of Selectmen will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

Toys for Tots: Kelley & Rege Properties, 378 Granite Ave., will collect toys for children starting Tuesday. Drop toys off until Dec. 22. Contact fjeffers@kelleyrege.com for more information.

Discovery Workshop: This is the second half of a two-part education workshop about parenting and helping children discover their world. The workshop will take place at the Discovery Schoolhouse, 101 Blue Hills Parkway Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Registration is required and can be done through e-mail at cpcmecasld@verizon.net.

Nutrition Workshop: The Milton Public LIbrary, 476 Canton Ave., will hold a “Food and Mood” nutrition workshop Wednesday at 7 p.m. The event is free and registration is not required.

Trivia: Seniors are invited to test themselves with a few rounds of educational trivia at the Council on Aging, 10 Walnut St., Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Book Sale: The Milton Public Library’s "Friends Book Shop Sale" will take place Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
