Milton police log: Jan. 28 to Feb. 3

The following was taken from the Milton police logs. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, Jan. 28
Accident: At 12:09 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Canton Avenue and Reedsdale Road. One person was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Milton.

Arrests: At 1:37 p.m., police received a call of a break-in in process at a Hilltop Street residence. Police arrested Marcos Beato, 47, of Randolph and Hector L. Sanchez, 43, of Dorchester following a car and foot chase. Police charged both men with daytime breaking and entering, malicious destruction of property, and larceny over $250. Beato was further charged with three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a vehicle, failure to stop for police, a red light violation, and a marked lanes violation.

Accident: At 5:14 p.m., police responded to an accident on Adams Street. A vehicle struck a utility poll. The operator was transported to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Milton.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

Accident: At 11:26 a.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Randolph Avenue and Chickatawbut Road. One person was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Milton.

Identity theft: At 7:21 p.m., police received a report of identity theft from a Blue Hill Avenue resident.

Wednesday, Jan. 30
Theft: At 11:02 a.m., police received a report of theft from a Morton Terrace resident. A package was stolen.

Theft: At 11:19 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a Granite Avenue resident.

Bullying: At 12:56 p.m., police received a report of bullying from Fontbonne Academy on Brook Road.

Break-in: At 3:22 p.m., police received a report of breaking and entering at a Huntington Road residence. The resident called to say she found her front door broken.

Theft: At 5:19 p.m., police received a report of theft from a vehicle on Blue Hill Avenue.

Thursday, Jan. 31
Theft: At 8:07 a.m., police received a report of a car theft on Whittier Road. The resident said her vehicle was stolen sometime after 11 p.m. the previous night.

Theft: At 8:55 a.m., police received a report of a theft on Granite Avenue. The resident said items were taken off of his porch and his unlocked vehicle had been rummaged through.

Theft: At 2:46 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a Washington Street resident.

Arrest: At 9:10 p.m., police arrested Jude Chery, 28, pawtucket on a warrant. Chery was arrested at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Landon Road.

Friday, Feb. 1
Theft: At 7:23 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle on Randolph Avenue.

Theft: At 8:08 a.m., police received a report of theft from a motor vehicle on Willoughby Road.

Theft: At 8:31 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle on Morton Road.

Arrest: At 12:46 a.m., police arrested Donnell J. Butler, 24, of Milton and charged him with domestic assault and battery. Butler was arrested on Belvoir road.

Theft: At 11:42 a.m., police received a report of a theft of a gift card on Meagher Avenue.

Saturday, Feb. 2

Arrest: At 2:23 a.m., police received multiple calls about a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Randolph Avenue and Hilltop Street. Police arrested one of the drivers, Henry Rivera, 46, of Taunton and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor causing serious bodily injury, operating to endanger, and operating after suspension, subsequent offense. Two people, including Rivera, were taken to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Milton and a third person was taken to the Boston Medical Center.

Accident: At 10:25 a.m., police responded to an accident at the intersection of Blue Hills Parkway and Churchill Street. One person was transported with injuries to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Milton.

Theft: At 10:48 a.m., police received a report of a stolen package from a Westvale Road residence.

Malicious damage: At 11:41 a.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a vehicle on Winthrop Street. The vehicle’s tires were slashed.

Theft: At 1:22 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle on Antwerp Street.
